The Lagos State Baales Forum has announced its readiness to deliver votes for President Bola Tinubu and Dr. Kadiri Hamzat ahead of the upcoming 2027 general elections.
Convener of the Lagos State Baales Forum, Dr. Seyi Bamigbade, gave the assurance during a well-attended public engagement organized by the Lagos Division of the state Baales Forum.
The event, which drew a massive crowd of traditional chiefs, community leaders, and party faithful, was organized to mobilize support for the re-election of President Tinubu and the governorship aspiration of Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Hamzat, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In his address, Bamigbade noted that the traditional rulers are deeply rooted in their respective communities and are uniquely positioned to deliver millions of grassroots votes to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The forum commended the current administration’s focus on sustainable infrastructure, national economic development, and unwavering respect for traditional institutions.
The division reaffirmed its total backing for Dr. Hamzat, citing his administrative competence, loyalty, and deep understanding of the developmental blueprint of Lagos State.
Bamigbade revealed that the mobilization effort has expanded beyond Lagos State, saying the South-West Baales Forum is scheduled to officially declare a joint, region-wide endorsement for President Tinubu and all APC candidates across the southwestern states.
According to him, the grand endorsement ceremony is scheduled to take place on October 7, 2026, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, adding that traditional rulers from across the region are expected to converge to solidify their commitment to the APC’s victory.
‘’The Lagos Division concluded the engagement with a call to all residents and community stakeholders to remain steadfast with the ruling party to ensure continued growth, security, and prosperity at both the state and national levels,’’ he said.
